Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Frey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiffany, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

Thank you so much for the interview, I love any opportunity to talk about Toven Social!

I will say, this is one of the most challenging adventures I’ve ever taken on, but I will never go back to working a 9 to 5!

I’ve found that one of the greatest joys of being an entrepreneur is the ability to combine my passion with my purpose. Unlike my old 9 to 5 jobs, I’m now dedicating time to build out my vision. I’m motivated by helping small businesses succeed and getting to do this every day is a dream come true.

Through the ups and downs, I’ve felt an unparalleled sense of fulfillment and freedom. Some weeks might be harder than others, but I get to create my own schedule, take time off whenever I want, and travel to places I never imagined.

Another thing I LOVE about being a business owner is you don’t have a cap on how much you can make. Like, the limit does not exist! Haha.

I’ve seen firsthand that the harder I work, the more money I can make, and it’s extremely rewarding.

Despite the challenging economic conditions this year, I believe that becoming a small business owner ignites a new sense of determination and resilience.

I will advise becoming an entrepreneur is NOT for the faint of heart.

Still, the freedom to pursue your passion, catapult your personal growth, and create a positive impact are just a few reasons why I am incredibly happy that I created Toven.

If you have a burning desire to make a difference, embrace the unknown, and shape your destiny, entrepreneurship may be the path for you! It can lead to a life of happiness, fulfillment, and success.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Sure! Hi, I’m Tiff! I’m a social media strategist with over ten years of experience in advertising and marketing. After working on national accounts at ad agencies in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, I shifted from print and out-of-home advertising to Social Media Marketing and PR.

When I moved to California in 2021, I was freelancing in influencer marketing and social media management. I moved here for a relationship, and when it didn’t work out, I was determined to stay.

I poured my heart and soul into creating my own Marketing Agency, Toven Social.

We’re a strategic Marketing agency specializing in social media strategic planning, content creation, social media management, paid ads, analytics + optimization, and we just opened up our PR services.

Toven Social creates dynamic and engaging content that allows our clients to connect deeper with their followers, reach new audiences, and strengthen their branding and online reputation.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I’ve found the key to building an engaged set of followers that trust you is by being vulnerable. I love to let my energetic and quirky personality show and give folks a peek behind the scenes.

When I show followers my day-to-day, it strengthens their desire to stay in touch because people crave real connections.

I encourage all of my Social Media Marketing clients to let go of fear and embrace their imperfections and genuine moments. When you authentically express yourself, flaws and all, you attract people who respond to you. This can either be negative, which helps weed out those who aren’t meant for you, or positive, which strengthens the bond between you and them.

Remember, it’s not about the number of likes or followers it’s about your impact on those following. You don’t need millions of followers to make millions of dollars. You can do it with a small amount that is highly engaged and TRUST you.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I go above and beyond for my clients. I’m highly motivated by their success and will work tirelessly to ensure they’re 100% happy.
